There are so many different possibilities to learn a language online. At least, you can find loads of resources to support the learning process. What about a free language course to learn Danish, French, German, Icelandic, Luxembourgish or Amharic? Open Cultures offers an overview: Learn 48 Languages Online for Free: Spanish, Chinese, English & More. These courses are free and online.
Furthermore, this website offers 900 Free Audio Books and 1.150 Free Movies that can be used to foster the language learning process.
A second resource that might be helpful regarding listening comprehensions in the classroom is Audio-Lingua. This websites offers 5290 mp3 files in 13 different languages. You can use filters to find your way: key words, language, CEFR level, length, and speaker’s age. All these audio files licenced as OER using CC BY-NC-SA as a licence.
Last but not least YouTube and it’s stars are a great resource for language teachers and learners. There are channels for every field of interest, for every language and even every level. In 2018 I will introduce different channels to you.
